You will have an active interest in film and video production and an eagerness to develop your expertise in experimentation and creative development. This course will equip you with the skills, knowledge and practical experience necessary to progress on to a successful career in the creative industries, with a focus on film, television and digital production. This one-year programme will enable you to analyse, discuss and evaluate the theoretical elements underpinning practical workshops. You will learn and apply storytelling techniques, framing and the application of sound and light to film and digital media. You will be assessed using a variety of techniques, including lectures, seminars, screenings, reflective critiques, independent study and group research activities.
