Our course qualifies you to work professionally with parents during the first 1000 days of pregnancy into parenthood. NCT, in partnership with the University of Worcester, brings you teaching, learning and professional development opportunities in parenting education. NCT is the UK’s leading charity for parents, established in 1956, NCT supports parents from pregnancy to beyond, providing parents with accurate, impartial information through courses and classes.
Our unique NCT Perinatal Education and Practice CertHE course has been designed to allow you to develop a role as an NCT Practitioner, enabling you to support, inspire and guide new parents through pregnancy and the early days of parenthood. On successful completion of the course, you will be issued an NCT Licence to Practise and will be able to provide services for parents such as our highly valued antenatal courses.

Standard Qualification Requirements
One A Level (or equivalent) at Grade C or other acceptable equivalent Level 3 qualification (i.e. a BTEC, CACHE or Access to Higher Education Diploma) which carries 32 tariff points. These qualifications do not have to be in a related subject. Also:
• Minimum of four GCSEs at Grade C/4 or above
• GCSE English Language at Grade C/4 or evidence of level 2 literacy is required, for example key skills or functional skills at level 2
We welcome applicants who may not meet our standard entry requirements but can demonstrate the ability to study this subject at university level and have relevant work experience.
