This work-focused Foundation Degree will enable you to examine health and social care as it applies to the community at large. The aim of this course is to provide you with knowledge of and insight into health and social care issues for individuals and communities and health and social care services. This higher education course is delivered by local further education colleges and is awarded by the University of Wolverhampton By forming links with local and national employers - and responding effectively to their needs – the programme remains fresh and up-to-date. It contains an element of work experience which you negotiate yourself, using your current work if relevant. If you currently work in health or social this course will provide you with core skills to enhance your work; if you are looking to enter a career in health & social care it will give you access to a wide range of career options.
