Course Summary

The BA (Hons) Dance and Creative Performance degree offers you the opportunity to learn about dance from an all-round perspective. The course will prepare you to enter the world of work and/or further study and aims to produce graduates who are confident in their ability to work in a globally changing world and who are prepared to make a significant contribution to local and wider dance and arts communities. Through your dance studies, you will become versatile and critically reflective in thinking and practice, engage in different dance genres, and become skilled in the use of new technologies relating to dance. By the end of the course, you will have the knowledge and experience to enter the performing arts industry or to use transferable skills to enter a wide range of careers. Our optional module pathways enable you to broaden and develop a range of skills which will be of benefit in the performing arts industry.
