Focusing on employability, modules cover a range of audio technologies as used in a variety of practical and theoretical contexts, including music production, game and film sound, and live sound. Throughout the course you will develop a deep understanding of underlying concepts such as acoustics, electronics, and creative computing through practical work in dedicated Mac labs, recording studios, and performance spaces.
As the course progresses you will use, design, and build various hardware and software audio systems for industry-relevant applications which may include theatre/venue accessibility. Option modules in topics such as songwriting, lighting, teaching, and AR/VR enable you to match your specific professional aspirations and offer the opportunity to explore and apply a range of technologies in diverse contexts.
