Course Details - Modules

The course includes units such as: Engineering Design, Engineering Maths, Engineering Science, Managing a Professional Engineering Project, Fluid Mechanics, Computer Aided Design and Manufacture, Mechanical Workshop Principles, Fundamentals of Thermodynamics and Heat Engines. Two of the following units will be offered: Fluid Mechanics, Mechanical Workshop Practices, Computer Aided Design and Manufacture (CAD/CAM). The HND programme covers all the above as well as: Research Project, Professional Engineering Management, Advanced Mechanical Principles, Virtual Engineering, Further Mathematics, Lean Manufacturing and Sustainability.
