With so many film, television and theatrical productions, music events, photoshoots and fashion shows here in the South West, there is a real need for talented production artists and designers with a flair for bringing ideas to life. This course can help you start or progress your career in hairstyling, cosmetics, prosthetics and special effects roles by providing you with the opportunity to enhance your technique alongside studies of the key practices and practitioners underpinning the disciplines. You will be given space in our recently-renovated and professionally-equipped studio to develop your skills and then work on ‘live’ briefs in collaboration with your peers across the creative arts courses at UCW and Bath Spa University on their numerous shows and shoots throughout the year.
