Course Summary

This course integrates research-based humanistic counselling practice and theory and provides an opportunity to develop expertise in an area of your interest. You will undertake a research project which can relate to an employer request, thereby improving your practice, enhancing employability and having a real-life application. There is an opportunity to present your research and meet significant figures in the research field of counselling at an annual care sectors conference. There is also an opportunity to gain an additional certificate of completion of 6 months of training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).
