This course fully prepares you for a career in the media makeup and hair industry.
You are taught the skills and techniques to be able to work in Film , TV, theatre, fashion, Body art and SFX by industry professionals.
A strong emphasis is put on period hair/wig dressing and makeup which help develop skills that can be utilised across all modalities and there are plenty of opportunities to work with a photographer to develop your portfolio throughout course.
There are many opportunities to meet with professionals whom demonstrate their specialist skills during extra enrichment activities and students have the chance to gain an insight into the working industry on specialist trips.
Our strong industry links and high profile in industry can generate opportunities for work experience throughout years 1 and 2 and help to develop links for progression.

At the end of the year all students take part in a FMP show to show showcase their creativity and skills developed to which we invite industry professionals.
