Course Summary
This course is designed specifically for those wanting to learn how to lead or manage people within an organisation, be it through line management, running a company or in the specialist field of Human Resources. During the first year of Applied Business Management, you will learn about the wider business organisation, business processes and develop personal skills essential for effective management.
In the following years, you will focus on your area of choice, People and Organisation. During this time, you will learn about several types of organisation and their business lifecycles, across the private sector, public sector and charities. You will study management and leadership styles and discover how they can impact each other and develop a good understanding of both change and project management.
This exciting program will be a great stepping stone for those wanting to go onto a master’s level programme.
