The Computer Science with Industrial Placement course prepares you with the key knowledge and skills required by the industry related to the field of Computing and Information Technology. It incorporates employability skills and soft skills, alongside technical competence. It improves your skills and work readiness. Work placement provides work experience that is relevant to your course and your future career and enhances your CV. After the completion of your second year of the degree programme, the work experience you have gained helps you select your final year project. On this course you will learn about the fundamentals and science behind computing and software development, ranging from mobile devices to large scale systems for enterprise applications. A degree in computer science will help you gain the key skills and knowledge for designing and developing software systems for a variety of applications, ranging from mobile systems to large scale applications for enterprises. As part of this course you will cover the concepts and the basis for producing sound and demanding applications.
