Course Summary

Our BA Set Design and BA Theatre Design & Production degree courses at UWTSD are practical, hands-on courses designed for people who are fascinated by the processes of exploring, creating and building designs, props, costume, lighting, sound and more; it is for people who want to design and make environments on stage and/or screen. The programme concerns itself with turning narrative and screenplay/scripts into 'sets', through carefully planned practical modules and expert tuition. The diverse nature of the courses means we go from the foundations skills right through to producing performances, films, and events.
