The purpose of our Media Production course is to develop students as professional, self-reflecting individuals able to meet the demands of employers in the Creative Media Production sector. The course is designed for students who wish to pursue or advance their career in Creative Media Production. It aims to equip students with the necessary skills, knowledge and understanding to undertake all stages of production across a range of media products from analysis & research to planning, production, post-production and evaluation. Alongside this, students will gain valuable information pertaining to the structure of the Creative Media Production sector and the ability to develop their skills so as to effectively pursue a career within the sector. The BTEC Higher National qualification in Creative Media Production is aimed at students wanting to continue their education through applied learning. In addition to the knowledge, understanding and skills that underpin the study of Creative Media Production, the course will give students experience of the breadth and depth of the sector and will prepare them for further study or training.
