Course Summary

The course is designed to provide students with both a theoretical and practical knowledge of business engagement alongside developing their creative and strategic skill set to enable and enrich their entrepreneurial and enterprise talents. It has long been recognised that the UK has a deficit in both entrepreneurship and leadership knowledge and skills which directly impacts on the performance of the economy by constraining growth potential and productivity level increases. This course is designed in the light of the need to help address these problems in a wider global context. It also accommodates and acknowledges the importance of the creative industries as the fastest growing part of the UK economy and the opportunities and needs it provides in future employment. It is a sector that would benefit from an injection of entrants able to bridge the business-creatives divide that this course is designed to do by unifying business and creative orientations.
