**About this Course:**
The Foundation Degree (FdSc) in Sport Coaching is ideal for individuals who wish to further their career in the sport, fitness and exercise industry. You will develop both your practical and theoretical knowledge of coaching and fitness as well as covering contemporary units such as coaching active lifestyles, coaching for special populations and innovative and exclusive delivery.

**Progression:**
After completion of this course you will be able to progress to top-up your Foundation Degree into a full Bachelor’s Degree may be available in a number of specialist sport areas including:
- Fitness, exercise and health science
- Sports science, coaching and performance
- Sports therapy or sports management
With further specialist study, other job opportunities may include; Sport or PE Teacher, Personal Trainer, Nutritionist, Sports Physiotherapist, or Primary School Teacher.
**Entry Requirements:**
- 48 UCAS Points
- GCSE Maths and English at grade C/4 or above or equivalent
- A relevant Level 3 qualification
- A clean and valid enhanced DBS check
