You develop the skills and competences of future managers within sports marketing and management, making independent decisions at both a tactical and strategic level. The course emphasises the complexity and dynamics of sport business and management, giving you knowledge of the integrative nature of the factors affecting management decisions. You gain an understanding of international sports marketing and management theory, concepts, and frameworks, and learn to critically evaluate and reflect on these in practice. This multidisciplinary approach and international context, gives you a range of personal and business skills that enables you to pursue careers associated with international sports marketing and management in the private, public, and voluntary sectors. **After the course**: Graduates from this programme are well prepared for careers in sports management, marketing and events with national governing bodies of sport, local authorities or other similar organisations. Typical vocational destinations include sport business roles in a range of public, private and not-for-profit organisations. This course is also a prerequisite qualification for a range of postgraduate courses within the sports and leisure industry.
