The purpose of BTEC Higher Nationals in Sport & Coaching Science is to develop students as professional, self-reflecting individuals able to meet the demands of employers in the Sport & Coaching Science sector and adapt to a constantly changing world. Course Details – Assessment Method
The units are criterion referenced with a variety of assessment methods used to evidence the learning outcomes with published assessment criteria.
Examples of assessment methods include essays, reports, oral presentations, practical coaching sessions and research projects. Some formal examinations may be included in the assessment schedule.
