This multi-disciplinary course offers dynamic, intensive and practical training for performers, developing valuable creative skills through workshops and live projects. You will work in the wider industry ensuring a strong, work-related emphasis and focus to all of your training. Creative communication is central to the programme of study, encouraging Performers to develop a range of skills that will enhance your employability in the industry. You will study a range of units which will provide you with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills, relevant to a wide range of roles within the Performing Arts. Students will have full use of our theatre and dance studios on campus.
The HNC in Performing Arts (General) would appeal to those with a high level of commitment and a professional approach to practical work and personal development. Successful completion of this course will enable you to progress in to a range of career and employment opportunities within the Performing Arts industry, or alternatively you may progress on to a University Undergraduate degree.
Students will progress to various roles in stage and theatre, music industry, film and TV. Students can also progress on to a University Degree.
