This course offers students a broad introduction to the specialist area of Performing Arts (Dance). The aim of the course is to equip students with Dance skills, knowledge and the understanding necessary to achieve high performance in the global Performing Arts environment by improving both technique and overall fitness. Students will benefit from industry standard dance studios and will be taught by experienced dance professionals. The HNC in Performing Arts (Dance) would appeal to those with a high level of commitment and a professional approach to practical work and personal development. Successful completion of this course will enable you to progress in to a range of career and employment opportunities within the Performing Arts industry, or alternatively you may progress on to a University Undergraduate degree. Students will progress to various dance roles in stage and theatre, music industry, film and TV. Students can also progress on to a University Degree.
