Course Summary

Underpinned by the latest research, and accredited by the Society of Sports Therapists, this BSc (Hons) Sports Therapy course is a chance for you to be able to provide the very best care and management for professional athletes and individuals to aid their recovery and support performance. You will have the opportunity to carry out a sandwich year, where you will take on a work placement, providing you with essential experience and hands-on learning, aiding your development. These placements could either be national or international, and could see you work with professional sports teams or within regular clinics, where you’ll work on real-life cases and perform diagnoses on students and members of the public. This course is accredited by The Society of Sports Therapists - the largest governing body of Sports Therapists in the UK to ensure the course remains relevant and aligned with industry standards. You'll be taught in our £71 million City South Campus, complete with state-of-the-art facilities including two sports therapy clinic rooms (where you will take part in real-life clinics with patients from year 1 of the course), fitness suite and innovative teaching classrooms. Pass with 60 credits overall.
