Cymraeg, Cyfryngau a Chysylltiadau Cyhoeddus (Welsh, Media and Public Relations)
Course Summary
Mae’r BA Cymraeg, Cyfryngau a Chysylltiadau Cyhoeddus yn cyrraedd anghenion myfyrwyr a chyflogwyr yr unfed ganrif ar hugain. Dengys yr ystadegau fod ein graddedigion yn llwyddo i gael swyddi proffesiynol o safon, a hynny o fewn ychydig fisoedd i raddio.
Mae ein cysylltiadau o fewn y diwydiant ledled Cymru a Phrydain yn golygu eich bod yn cael y cyfle i gyfarfod a thrafod eich dyfodol gyda rhai o gyflogwyr mwyaf blaenllaw y Deyrnas Unedig.
Mae’r BBC, S4C, Llywodraeth Cymru, Cynulliad Cenedlaethol Cymru, Cyfoeth Naturiol Cymru, Cymraeg i Oedolion Gwent, y Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol, Cronfa’r Loteri Fawr a Chyngor Sir Caerfyrddin ymhlith y sefydliadau a’r cwmnïau sy’n cyflogi ein graddedigion.
O ran y Gymraeg, mae gwahanol fathau o fodiwlau y gelli di eu dilyn yn Abertawe. Mae gennym:
- fodiwlau iaith (e.e. Iaith a Chymdeithas; Cyfieithu; Gweithio mewn Dwy Iaith; Sgiliau Iaith);
- modiwlau llenyddiaeth (e.e. Drama’r Gymraeg; Canu Protest; O Ddafydd ap I Mererid Hopwood; Gwlad Beirdd a Storïwyr);
- modiwlau ar bolisi a chyfraith iaith (e.e. Statws y Gymraeg; Y Gymraeg, Datganoli a’r Gyfraith; Amlddiwylliannedd a’r Gymraeg).
O ran y Cyfryngau a Chysylltiadau Cyhoeddus, bydd y cwrs yn dy helpu i ddatblygu dealltwriaeth gref o ddamcaniaethau yn y meysydd hyn. Byddi di hefyd yn datblygu ymwybyddiaeth o ddatblygiadau cyfredol a newidiol a’r effaith y maent yn ei chael ar gymdeithas a’r byd busnes.
Byddi’n cael dy ddysgu gan ddarlithwyr sy’n derbyn bri rhyngwladol am eu gwaith ymchwil ac sy’n arwain yn eu meysydd. Yn yr asesiad REF diwethaf, barnwyd bod 100% o waith ymchwil y staff o safon ryngwladol neu’n uwch na hynny. Mae dau Brifardd ac enillwyr Llyfr y Flwyddyn ymhlith aelodau o staff Adran y Gymraeg.
At hyn, mae ein campws dafliad carreg yn unig o’r traeth ac eto i gyd wedi ei leoli mewn dinas fywiog. Yn Abertawe, ceir y gorau o’r ddau fyd!
