In choosing Coleg Cambria’s Foundation Degree/ BSC Honours Degree in Applied Business Management (developed and accredited by Swansea University) you will study a broad spectrum of business and management topics (such as marketing, operations management, finance, accounting, strategy and human resource management) as well as offering a range of cutting-edge specialist optional modules. All modules are taught by our leading business tutors who have a breadth of industrial and academic knowledge and regularly train business leaders from across Wales. Course Details - Modules
You will study 4 modules in year 1 (Finance, Accounting & Analytics, Marketing, Human Resource Management and Operations Management 1), and a further 4 in year 2 (Business Management 1, Operations Management 2, Organisational project 1 and Leadership & International Human Resource Management). Prince2 Foundation is also offered as an optional extra on year 2; this project management qualification is a valuable asset to employers.
Successful completion of all modules in Years 1 and 2 will enable students to achieve a Foundation Degree (the FdSc in Applied Business Management). Completion of the FdSc will allow progression onto the BSc Applied Business Management in Year 3 where you will study 3 modules (Business Management 2, Project Management & Delivery and Organisational Project 2).

Most modules are assessed through examinations and essays, but projects, bibliographic exercises, reflective diaries, posters, and presentations may also be utilised.
