This 2 year HND course has 2 pathways available:

This full time course includes 450 hours work placement across the 2 years. (2 placements for Pathway one and 1 placement for Pathway two)

Course Details – Assessment Method
You will be taught through seminars, lectures and interactive workshops sessions.
You will also access self-study resource materials. Assessment methods include formal written tasks; presentations; independent learning; poster presentation; extensive research and enquiry; debated Issue and work-based learning on placement.
There will be awarding body set assignments in addition to tutor set assignments and practice based assignments where students will develop a Practical Learning, Assessment and Development Portfolio of evidence from the placement experience.

You must be 18 years of age or over and possess one of the following:
BTEC National Certificate/Diploma in Care/Health Studies.

DBS is compulsory and current fee is £44.
Printing for your course – you will receive £30 credit for printing which will be paid in three instalments of £10 per term. Any printing requirements in excess of this can be purchased.
You may choose to purchase books from the recommended reading lists however the College Learning Centre have an excellent range of all books suggested within your units studied – hard copies and/or online.
