The Event and Tourism Management course provides the opportunity to gain industry specific knowledge, plus essential management skills. Our degree offers a supportive, fun and ambitious environment for students who aspire to build a successful career in events and tourism. We are different to bigger universities. Here, you receive excellent levels of support due to our small class sizes and personal tutors.
We do our best to help you get established in this competitive, fast-paced, global industry with opportunities to study and collaborate with a diversity of people and organisations. Also, our field trips to locations including Spain extend your intercultural knowledge, and our long-standing industry connections provides exposure to real-world scenarios.
It had been designed in consultation with organisations involved in both event and tourism management, and offers guest lectures, site visits and the opportunity to get involved in real projects. The close links with relevant organisations in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors mean that students have the opportunity to learn from industry experience.
