Course Summary

Throughout the course you will develop skills and knowledge in crop production, animal production and mechanisation along with the ability to complete and maintain appropriate records and documents. You will also develop an awareness of health and safety, animal welfare and environmental issues directly related to agriculture. You will learn and develop, through study and practical experience, skills in production agriculture which will enable you to undertake the running of a farm enterprise at enterprise manager or assistant farm manager level. Upon successful completion of this course students may apply to join year 2 of the HND Agriculture or the BSc/BSc (Hons) Agriculture course.
