This course will prepare you to work in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS). You'll study:
the science that underpins nursing
the evidence base behind the nurse's role
how nurses promote health and help people to maintain health and well-being
You'll develop practice skills through a range of nursing placements, and your learning will be further supported through simulated practice and clinical skills teaching. You will also learn with and from students of other health professions in both theory and practice.

Pass science based Access to HE with 60 credits overall, and with a minimum of 45 credits at Level 3, of which 33 must be at Distinction and 9 credits at Merit.

FETAC / QQI Level 5 120 Credits: Pass in every module, with distinction essential in at least 5 modules including Human Growth and Development (or Biology), Anatomy and Physiology and Nursing Theory.
