Bring your unique style and photographic vision to the world of editorial fashion with Solent’s fashion photography degree. You’ll learn technical photography skills and develop your knowledge using our industry-standard photography, make-up and styling studios. You'll also gain an in-depth knowledge of fashion industry practices and the day-to-day operation of fashion businesses. On this creative degree, you will be supported to develop practical photography skills while studying fashion and photography theory. Throughout your studies you will have access to a range of professional photography facilities to hone your skills, including nine photography studios (including a specialist Infinity Cove), make-up studios, Mac suites and digital reprographics rooms for high quality professional prints. The University holds many links with industry professionals, enabling you to benefit from a range of guest lectures and work experience opportunities. Recent students have enjoyed work placements at companies such as Topman, Fat Face, All Walks Beyond the Catwalk and Good Fibres. The course places a strong emphasis on equipping you with the skills and knowledge required by employers.
