Delivered in partnership with the Celtic Manor Resort Hotel and International Convention Centre (ICC) Wales, the course aims to combine the base of Events Management theory with the opportunity to develop practical industry experience in an international market setting. With a strong emphasis on the principles of sustainable project management throughout, the course provides students with an advanced business education whilst contextualizing this learning in the field of events management. The event industry is one of the fastest growing industries in the world, playing a fundamental part in economic development locally, nationally and internationally. It is now worth £42.3 billion in the UK alone and offers diverse and exciting career opportunities around the world. This innovative International Events Management course will be delivered in partnership with the Celtic Manor Resort and ICC, offering a unique opportunity for students to experience the events industry from a range of perspectives throughout their study. This is a first of its kind programme in the UK and has inherent local, national and international appeal.
