On this course, you learn how to identify market niches and work with marketing teams and food technologists to develop products that satisfy consumer needs. You’ll learn how to promote products and encourage sales in a competitive environment, so you graduate with the skills needed to pursue a career in food and business.

**Applied learning - Live projects**
Live projects form a valuable part of your learning on this course. You will undertake a 20 credit module based on a food marketing management topic, have autonomy to decide on your topic, and will be supported throughout the module by experienced tutors.
**Field trips**
You will have the opportunity to engage with industry through our specialist guest speakers and via tutors with extensive industry experience. Guest speakers may include specialists in new product development and marketing. We have strong links with leading blue-chip manufacturers such as Northern Foods and Greencore, and with major retailers such as Tesco, Sainsbury's and Marks & Spencer.

International applicants
Standard Qualification Requirements
Normally 120 credits at Level 4 and 120 credits at Level 5 (i.e. a total of 240 credits) from any business, international business or other relevant qualifications. Students will have normally studied a qualification with relevant content at Level 4 and Level 5.
Please note the University will only admit students who are aged 18 at the point of enrolment.
