- Learn the specific skills needed to create memorable event experiences, both physically and virtually, demonstrating business value for employers and clients
- Study the essential aspects of planning and delivering safe and effective events, from delivering persuasive pitches to delivering the event itself
- Specialise in the event area of your choice
- Take on the challenge of delivering memorable events with the support of experienced tutors.
This course builds on your previous business or events studies and allows you to convert your existing academic credits into a full honours degree. In a fast-growing industry, take on the challenge of delivering memorable events in a wide range of sectors including exhibitions, festivals and experiential marketing.

**Applied learning - Live projects**
Live projects form a valuable part of your learning on this course. You will undertake a 20 credit module based on an events management topic, have autonomy to decide on your topic, and will be supported throughout the module with experienced tutors.

Our links with industry mean you will be able to engage with a wide range of guest speakers from across the events industry. Previous guest speakers have included Martin Green of the London 2012 Organising Committee (LOCOG), Simon Graveling of Athens 2004, London 2012 and Sochi 2014, David Jamilly of Theme Traders, and Jon Hughes from KPMG.

Standard Qualification Requirements
Normally 120 credits at Level 4 and 120 credits at Level 5 (i.e. a total of 240 credits) from any business, international business or other relevant qualifications. Students will have normally studied a qualification with relevant content at Level 4 and Level 5. Students whose first language is not English will need to demonstrate the entry requirements of the course to which they apply as well as meet the English competence requirements of an overall IELTS score of 6.0 (with a minimum of 5.5 in each of the four skills); or equivalent.
Please note the University will only admit students who are aged 18 at the point of enrolment.
