This course enables you to become a reflective, adaptable business practitioner. Through a range of learning methods, you’ll learn to problem-solve, collaborate, research and scrutinise — ensuring that you have every tool at your disposal for the business world. Throughout, you'll work with and be supported by an expert team of lecturers, tutors and researchers. You learn through - lectures and seminars - problem and enquiry based learning - case studies - group activities, learning and reflection - roleplay and business simulations - individual tutor support - social learning tools - client-led projects - independent work based research project - work-based learning including placements and fellowships **Applied learning** The course prepares you for future career readiness. This includes working with national and/or local organisations at every level of your course – helping you develop your employability, personal graduate attributes and digital skills. **Work placements** You will have the opportunity to arrange a work placement in the second half of your second year of your degree. This gives you a real-world experience to prepare you for your future career — improving your business acumen, self-management, contacts and interpersonal skills. **Live projects** Throughout the course, there are a range of projects, business simulations and client-led tasks that will allow you to apply your knowledge to real-life scenarios. You'll improve your analytical mindset, learning agility and critical thinking through these activities. **Networking opportunities** Your continued engagement and interaction with the business world will allow you many opportunities for networking throughout the course. You'll work with others, improve your interpersonal skills and learn to build relationships.

Standard Qualification Requirements

This must include at least 48 points from 2 A Levels or equivalent BTEC qualifications. For example: BBC at A Level DMM in BTEC Extended Diploma. A combination of qualifications, which may include AS levels, EPQ and general studies

Access to HE Diploma with at least 45 credits at level 3 and 15 credits at level 2. At least 15 level 3 credits must be at merit grade or above, from a QAA-recognised Access to HE course, or an equivalent Access to HE certificate.


If you do not have any of the qualifications above but have relevant experience you are welcome to discuss potential opportunities with the admissions tutor. Please note the University will only admit students who are aged 18 or above at the point of enrolment.
