You’ll learn useful business, communication, digital and research skills, and familiarise yourself with Sheffield Hallam. Upon completing your foundation study, you’ll be ready to hit the ground running on a full honours degree. **How you learn** - All our courses are designed around a set of key principles based on engaging you with the world, collaborating with others, challenging you to think in new ways, and providing you with a supportive environment in which you can thrive. - You’ll take modules that test your independent study skills, as well as traditional lectures, seminars and group work. Airline and Airport Management is a dynamic, engaging and practical course that allows you excellent experience of the aviation industry. **Work placements** You have the opportunity to undertake a year-long work placement in your third year of study. This gives you real-world experience to prepare you for your future career. Please note Aviation businesses carry out pre-employment security clearances and this is outside the control of Sheffield Hallam. The basic security clearance (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) requires the verification of the following four elements: identity, employment history (past five years), nationality and immigration status, criminal record (unspent convictions only).
