The ability to do this takes a level of artistry and focus that requires numerous advanced specialised make-up skills, which you will acquire by studying this innovative and exciting degree programme. The Foundation Degree Special Make-up Design, followed by our 1 year level 6 programme for the full BA(Hons), is taught in the vibrant city of Bristol at our University Centre WISE (UCWISE) Campus. Bristol is one of the UK's leading creative cities for the Arts and there are lots of opportunities for students to get involved in the wider community. This degree offers students an exciting opportunity to study specialist make up design with the progressive, cross disciplinary aspects of these industries. Our focus is on creative thinking and developing the knowledge and technical skills appropriate for employment in the creative industries. The degree is delivered by staff with industry experience and the focus of assessments is on practical assignments and coursework, **with no formal examinations**. The Foundation Degree is a qualification in its own right and is equivalent to the first 2 years of a degree. On successful completion you can progress onto our 1 year level 6, BA (Hons) programme to complete your full degree.
