Within the degree, ethno- and gender-centric art histories are contextualised amongst diverse, non-Western practices with a view to redressing historical imbalances and injustices. This Art History Degree is taught at Bristol School of Art, Clifton. **Bristol School of Art is one of the oldest Art Schools in the country, being established in 1858** and has a recognised **reputation for offering high quality education**, across a range of creative disciplines.* Bristol School of Art is based right in the centre of student life in Clifton, Bristol. The Campus is situated in the right-hand wing of the Royal West of England Academy on Queens Road. Bristol is a large vibrant city, but still easy enough to walk around.
