The FdSc Applied Sports Coaching and Physical Education degree is designed to support students in developing interpersonal skills alongside contemporary professional knowledge and contextual industry experience. This programme focuses on employability and applied practice with targeted approach on developing students understanding of pedagogy; psychology; professional practice; coach development; human movement; creative learning approaches and physical education Students are fully integrated within our sports departments and work with high performance athletes within our excellent facilities. Students have the opportunity to develop their teaching abilities, knowledge and experience of curriculum activities. Engagement in real-world experience is integral to this programme and students have opportunity to conduct research in sport environments and within the local community. SGS has an excellent reputation for its sporting facilities and students study in a supportive and friendly environment.
