Our Certificate of Higher Education in Mathematics is ideal if you want to study mathematics at university level but do not want to commit to a full BSc Mathematics programme yet. This flexible evening study programme will develop your knowledge and understanding of mathematical and statistical techniques. You will learn how to solve problems logically and analytically, and improve your quantitative and computing skills. The course will not only expand your general knowledge of mathematics, but also enable you to explore the areas that interest you the most. **Highlights** - The Department of Economics, Mathematics and Statistics has an excellent reputation for the quality of its academic research and teaching. We welcome applicants without traditional entry qualifications as we base decisions on our own assessment of qualifications, knowledge and previous work experience. We may waive formal entry requirements based on judgement of academic potential. Guaranteed interview for applicants with A-level mathematics (or equivalent*), and for students with at least a Merit in the Birkbeck Certificate of Higher Education in Mathematical Studies taking the Mathematics and Further Mathematics modules. Applicants without this will need to pass an entrance test.
