Our new BA Politics degree programme aims to equip students with the ability to analyse, research and debate issues in global politics and international law. ical and historical foundation to political study. You will be actively encouraged to challenge and critique current political challenges such as terrorism, security issues and environmentalism and will become an authority on many areas of politics. Through work placement options and the placement year your employability will also be greatly enhanced. Guest speakers and field trips to political organisations will enrich the programme and provide further opportunities for learning. Authentic assessments - for example presenting at a conference - will enable you to build networks and broaden your intellectual horizon. Other assesment methods include book reviews, blogs, digital campaigns and policy critiques, as the course aims to accommodate a range of learning styles.
