Course Summary

The BA Philosophy, Religion and Ethics brings together subjects that have been at the heart of Roehampton teaching since the colleges came together to form the university. The close relationship and intersections of these subjects will allow students to address many of the interesting and difficult challenges facing citizens of the modern world, both in Western and Eastern cultures. Studying this degree will equip you valuable graduate skills and shape you into a confident, critical thinker, open to new ideas an and with first class communication skills. The combination of these three elements, Religion, Philosophy and Ethics within one programme will ask crucial questions about the nature of morality and justice. In keeping with the most recent developments in humanities research, this combination of subjects enquires: what does being human mean?, what is Justice? and what values shape human comprehension of global challenges?
