The study of psychology helps us to understand why we think, feel and act in the ways we do. The Psychology major covers social psychology, neuroscience, marketing psychology and the psychology of fashion and sport – exploring topics such as sexuality, cultural differences, evolution and behaviour. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to undertake practical experiments using specialist facilities (software that records heart rate and brain activity, psycho-physiological hardware, voice monitoring, an eye tracker, data analysis programmes and dedicated lab space) and your research findings will inform your understanding of different scientific theories and methodologies. Specialise in Psychology and pair it with a mix of elective modules each year – helping to develop your specialist knowledge as well as your cross-disciplinary thinking.
