Regent's University London
Liberal Arts (Art History) with Integrated Foundation
Course Summary
This is a Liberal Arts programme that incorporates an area of specialisation (a major), a general education programme which you will take in your first year providing a broad foundation for your degree, plus electives chosen from a wide range of subject areas to be taken alongside your major. The programme explores the production and reception of images and objects across time and space. It combines formal image or object analysis with research into why, when, where and for whom the image or object was produced. Images and objects from across the world are explored in parallel. The programme equally engages with wider interdisciplinary contexts in which works are produced, such as social, cultural, political and economic factors. January start date - apply on our website. September start date - apply through UCAS.
