Course Summary

The Professional Policing degree offers students the chance to develop knowledge and skills that underpin police work by combining theory, law and vocational experience if students choose to be a volunteer or Special Constable. This degree will help students to develop their knowledge and skills and prepare them for the challenges that police officers face by following the curriculum stipulated by the College of Policing. Throughout the degree students will gain an insight in to modern Policing and also be challenged to develop problem solving skills by considering crime, crime control and the effects of crime in different ways.
