We encourage students to start thinking about their contextual studies research throughout this year. Year 2: Students will gain a greater understanding of managing their personal brand and will work in creative collaboration with industry partners and students from other disciplines. Merchandising and visual merchandising are taught in the context of real industry practice. Every student will be given the opportunity to undertake a work placement and participate in manufacturing visits to echo the fashion buyer’s role. Year 3: We ask students to show their contextual studies research in a written or visual dissertation.
