This course has been specially designed to provide students with the latest cutting-edge skills in computer science. You’ll investigate the latest technological advances in areas like artificial intelligence, cyber security, and human-computer interaction. During your studies, you will explore the theoretical basis of computer science and discover how systems are organised, designed and implemented. The course places a strong emphasis on gaining practical experience and hands-on working. On the course you'll learn about design thinking, algorithms and optimisation, complex problem solving and other areas of computer science. In your final year, you’ll complete advanced topics in computer science before completing a major project. This will provide an opportunity to leverage user-centred design thinking and incorporate cutting-edge advances in computing into your project.
