This course builds on the School of Life Sciences' established strengths in biomedicine research in understanding the cellular and molecular basis of disease to identify new targets and/or biomarkers with potential application in developing novel therapies. This course integrates the development of drug, cosmetic and hygiene products with emerging areas such as systems biology and translational medicine that directly address the needs of the UK Pharma. The course will give you a solid foundation in pharmaceutical and chemical sciences, while providing you with exposure to topics that will enhance your employability in this sector.
