From your choice of area (radio, scriptwriting or new media) you will develop broad production experience, and examine social, political and historical aspects of contemporary media forms, looking critically at the various, ever-changing areas to understand how they work and the roles they play. Your special project, either a portfolio of work (ideal to show future employers) or dissertation on an area you choose to explore in depth, will help you develop your own powers of communication.
