International shipping is a vital industry. Responsible for moving 90 per cent of world trade, it keeps economies buoyant and offers a challenging and dynamic environment for management professionals. Our career focused, one-year top-up degree will help you navigate the complexities of the supply chain and logistics industry. You’ll cover environmental issues and the latest regulations and governance, and develop a range of business and management skills to help you launch your logistics career. You will also benefit from our International Shipping & Logistics Group’s associations with a number of commercial and international maritime. You’ll Immerse yourself in the industry through regular field trips to regulatory organisations, shipbrokers and ports. Take advantage of our programme of visiting speakers, and gain insider knowledge and important networking contacts. * Bridge the gap from your previous academic qualifications or work experience and acquire the specialist knowledge that will help you to join this rapidly growing industry. Course Details - Modules

You’ll study a range of topics affecting this global industry and develop the management and business skills it demands. Deepening your understanding of international shipping and supply chain management through a variety of modules, you’ll engage with current environmental and ethical debates, technological developments and government legislation, all of which impacts a manager’s responsibilities and decisions. You’ll also learn to interpret and evaluate data used in international logistics.
