The BA Early Childhood Studies with Foundation is a four year programme of study that includes a foundation year which offers access to those wishing to study at university and who do not have the standard entry profile for Year 1 BA study. The programme also offers entry to degree study for those who may be returning to study, those who may have relevant professional/workplace/voluntary experience but do not have the required academic entry profile for level 4 entry and for those whose qualifications may be outside the subject area.

Course Details - Modules
In your Foundation Year (year 0), you’ll acquire the knowledge and skills you’ll need to progress through your studies and become a confident, independent learner. You’ll take four 30 credit modules which will introduce you to a range of education-related topics whilst preparing you for degree-level study at the University of Plymouth.
