Course Summary

This course allows students to study for a degree and a professional management accreditation whilst continuing to work in their current job role. The course is flexible to allow students the choice to study remotely or join classes in person. The assignments link to many tasks that students are already engaged with but encourages them to view these with a theoretical understanding which will enhance the practical application of learning to their current or desired role in leadership and management. This course is ideal for current and aspiring leaders and managers who wish to gain recognised qualifications to aid the further development of their careers. The course can be studied full or part time. We particularly welcome applications with a military or public services background and experience and relevant qualifications will be considered on an individual basis.

Course Details - Modules

BSNH01 – Business Leadership This module is currently going through minor modifications to change the title to ‘Leadership and Management’. LBUH01 - Advanced Coaching and Mentoring This module is currently going through minor modifications to review the content, Learning outcomes and assessment. BSNH03 - Contemporary Business Issues New module - Operations Management In this module, students will be introduced to the fundamentals of operations, supply chains and logistics. They will review how operations management can deliver competitive advantage for firms and analyse interactions between operations management, other organisational functions and the wider community. This module requires an expert in Operations Management to write the content. BSNH05 – Honours Project
