Our HNC in Mechanical Design and Manufacture is specifically designed to provide you with a broad understanding of the theoretical knowledge, and technical skills, that you’ll need for a successful and rewarding career in the engineering industry. This course covers everything from analytical methods, engineering science, and materials, right through to advanced CAD techniques and engineering software. And, when you combine that with our strong professional links with key engineering industry employers, we can provide you with the tools you need to build your ideal future. Available as both a full-time and part-time programme, the HNC in Mechanical Design and Manufacture can be fitted around your existing work, study, or homelife commitments. Successfully completing this programme will give you the chance to progress to Petroc’s FdSc in Mechanical Design and Manufacture. This Higher National Certificate can also be used as a foundation year for those of you who wish to progress to university, but don’t currently reach the minimum academic entrance requirements; or it can also be used as part of a Higher Apprenticeship.
