This diploma will deepen your understanding of social care and social work, and develop the knowledge and skills you need to support vulnerable adults and children effectively in multiple settings. Course Details - Modules

This qualification has two stages, each comprising 120 credits. You’ll start Stage 1 with a 60-credit module introducing health and social care followed by another 60-credit module, which explores the ideas and ways of working with people that underpins social work practice with a range of different service user groups. Next, in Stage 2, you can choose from a variety of modules to complete your diploma, with a choice of subject areas including adult health and social care; mental health; end-of-life care; dementia care; the law and social work; and working with children and young people.
